In August 2009 Atesos medical AG was founded and opened their offices in Schachenallee 29 in Aarau, Switzerland.

February 2010
Product Launch of the SORT Navigation Targets

Atesos' first product release: the reflecting targets are used in conjunction with navigation cameras. Together they allow for a highly precise orientation in space.

October 2010
First CE certification of uncemented Pyramid Hip System

Here we go on 18 October 2010: The Pyramid Hip System receives its CE certification and therefore is conform to be marketed on the EU area.

Its unique 2-layer coating offers a fast osseointegration and therefore a faster rehabilitation for patients.

First surgery with Pyramid Hip System

On 21 October 2010 the first uncemented Pyramid Hip Stem including Hip Cup is implanted in Germany.

Product Launch cemented Stem

In order to be able to offer a wider range of covering indications, the cemented Pyramid Hip Stem was introduced. The centralizer on the tip allows for an even spread of the cement.

DAASS Table Extension

Product Launch of the Direct Anterior Approach Support System (DAASS): The Table Extension for fixing the leg is often applied when the anterior MIS approach is chosen.

If a revision is indicated, up to 3 cancellous bone screws can be applied in a form-fit way for anchoring.

Our latest member in the product portfolio is the Unas Short Stem System which was successfully introduced into the market. The Short Stem System can be used with the same instruments as the Pyramid Hip System.
