Since 2010, Atesos medical has been developing, producing and distributing high-quality hip implants with a wide range of indications, suitable for rapid rehabilitation “Made in Switzerland”. In August 2009, Atesos medical AG is founded and moves to Schachenallee 29 in Aarau, Switzerland.
The first Atesos product is approved: The retroreflective spheres are used in combination with navigation cameras for orientation in space.
On October 18, 2010, the time has come: The Pyramid Hip System receives CE certification and is now approved for the EU market.
Its unique 2-layer coating enables rapid osseointegration and thus faster rehabilitation of the patient.
In Germany, the first uncemented Pyramid Hip Stem including hip cup is implanted on October 21, 2010.
The cemented hip stem of the Pyramid line was introduced in order to be able to treat a wider range of indications. The centralizer at the tip supports an even distribution of the cement.
Product launch of the Direct Anterior Approach Support System (DAASS): The table extension for leg fixation is often used when the anterior MIS approach is selected.
In the case of revisions, up to three cancellous screws can be inserted for positive anchoring.
The Unas Short Stem was successfully launched onto the market as the latest addition to our portfolio. The short stem is implanted using the same instruments as the Pyramid Hip System.
